The Hanover County Lacrosse Club is excited to register for the Storm, the Club’s first ever lacrosse team for girls in middle school. Entering it's third season, the Storm will practice three days per week and will play games against other area teams.
Ages
Open to girls, grades 6 through 8.
Schedule - The season will run from early March to mid-May. Practices will be held on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings. The exact location, dates and times will be announced at a later date.
Required Equipment
Entry-level women’s lacrosse equipment is sufficient for the youth player. All players will be required to provide their own stick, eye protection, and molded mouthpiece. Molded cleats are recommended.
Equipment can be purchased at local sporting good stores such as Dick’s, Disco Sports or The Lacrosse Cage, or online from retailers such as Longstreth.com or Sportsherway.com.
Before purchasing sticks and eyewear please be sure to check that they meet play specifications. The overall women's stick length shall be not more than 35-1/2” minimum and 43-1/4" maximum and the eyewear should meet the ASTM Specification Standards for women's lacrosse.
Registration
Registration for the spring 2011 season begins in December. The cost is $125.00, which includes:
· Reversible Jersey
